Wildrose Texas offers short and long term boarding for all breeds of sporting dogs. Conveniently located 15 minutes south of downtown Dallas, the facility hosts a variety of boarding options on the beautiful grounds of the Dallas Shooting and Fishing Club, a perfect setting for sporting dogs. The facility includes a fully-equipped health care center ensuring the utmost in quality healthcare for all dogs in residence.
Purina Pro Plan Sport is provided at no additional charge. If you have specific dietary needs for your dog, please provide the food in a labeled, sealed storage bag.

What would my boarded dog do?
Every dog in boarding experiences a daily exercise regimen (SEA System) specifically developed by Wildrose and the health-care professionals at Purina designed to address the special needs of sporting dogs.

The SEA System is unique focusing on balanced conditioning for a dog’s mental stimulus, body conditioning and confidence enhancement as well as refinement of other important, essential obedience behaviors.
Wildrose Texas Boarding Requirements
Proof of current vaccinations from your veterinarian are required when your dog returns to Wildrose
for training. Please bring the appropriate documentation when the dog arrives.
● Required Vaccinations:
All Dogs in training or long term boarding are required to be on ProHeart 6 for heartworm prevention.
(optional for short-term boarding)
Complete series of puppy vaccinations if less than one year old.
Canine Influenza
Over a year old, current (annual booster) on combination vaccine covering Distemper, Adenovirus,
Parainfluenza, Parvovirus, Corona and 4 strains of Leptospira Bacteria.
Borrelia Burgdorferi Bacterin (Lyme disease) vaccination – series of two shots given 3 to 4 weeks
apart, then an annual booster.
Bordetella Bronchiseptica (Kennel Cough) – two consecutive vaccinations followed by a booster every
6 months.
Rabies – Follow your state law. In some states it is annual but others require every three years.
